Description

The URC-2008 Elevator Universal Reader Controller allows control of two elevator cabs with 8 floors total. It utilizes flash firmware for easy upgrades, and employs fully distributed intelligence for off-line operations. Decisions such as access level changes, schedule activation and card expiration are made by the URC-2008 controller without the need of a computer.

Features:

Elevator Control: Manages up to two elevator cabs with 8 floors, expandable to 32 floors.

Communication: Supports supervised RS-485 and TCP/IP communication with selectable speed up to 56.6Kbps.

Expansion: Can be expanded with up to three ELEV8 boards to control up to 32 floors.

Flash Firmware: Allows for easy firmware upgrades.

On-board Clock and Memory: Includes a built-in clock and memory backup.

Thermal Overload Protection: Protects the controller from overheating.
